My Dearest Future Chartered Accountants,

As the timeless adage so eloquently proclaims, “All good things must come to an end.” for there are greater things that lie ahead of us.

It is with immense pride, boundless joy, and an uncontainable sense of honor that I pen down this, my second humble yet earnest contribution to the inexhaustible and ever-evolving chronicles of the EICASA newsletter. This platform, which serves as a beacon of hope, knowledge, and empowerment, has been the guiding force for thousands of CA students striving for excellence.

As we gracefully step into the resplendent month of March—a season of rejuvenation and fresh beginnings—we find ourselves in the hands of a newly elected Students' Committee, a team of visionaries and dedicated leaders who are set to carry forward the legacy of EICASA with great enthusiasm headed by Mr. Yagesh Kumar Jhawar as Vice-Chairperson, Mr. Aman Ray as Secretary, and Mr. Vinayak Gupta as Treasurer, this distinguished leadership team is poised to uphold and elevate the esteemed values of EICASA, ensuring that the association continues to thrive as a hub of learning, collaboration, and excellence.

A Glance at the Bygone Days — The past month has been nothing short of extraordinary, filled with learning, adventure, and remarkable achievements. Each event we organized was a testament to the dedication and passion of our CA students, proving that professional growth extends far beyond books and lectures.

- One of the most remarkable highlights of our journey was the educational tour to Siliguri— an experience that was not only enriching but truly transformative for every student involved. This insightful expedition took us through the industrial landscapes of Siliguri and Mirik, offering a firsthand understanding of commerce and finance in action. We delved into realworld applications, explored factories, and engaged in thought-provoking discussions on emerging financial trends. Visiting manufacturing units proved to be a game-changer, providing a practical perspective on business operations, supply chain management, and financial structuring—bridged the gap between theory and reality. Beyond academics, the experience was equally exhilarating on a personal level. Camping under the vast celestial sky fostered an unbreakable bond among participants, reinforcing values of teamwork, leadership, and resilience. Adding to the spirit of camaraderie, the Sports Fiesta proved that a sharp mind thrives in a healthy body, bringing us together in the spirit of competition and celebration. A heartfelt thank you to the Siliguri Branch of EICASA for their warm hospitality, making us feel at home even in a new city.

- Furthermore, in the domain of sportsmanship and athletic prowess, EICASA proudly hosted the much-anticipated EICASA Premier League—an event that resonated with an unparalleled spirit of competition, camaraderie, and strategic brilliance. The world-renowned Barabati Stadium played host to this magnificent spectacle from the 28th to the 30th of March, witnessing students grace the field with their unwavering zeal, deft strategies, and remarkable physical agility, illuminating the stadium with an energy that was nothing short of aweinspiring. I would like to extend my thanks and gratitude to the Cuttack branch for making the entire experience worthwhile and endlessly memorable.

- The placement drive organized by EICASA served as a dynamic platform of endless opportunities, where students and firms came together to discover the perfect synergy, aligning aspirations with the right opportunities. This event was not just about recruitment—it was a collaborative effort to foster meaningful connections, bridge the gap between talent and opportunity, and shape the future of young professionals.

A Glimpse into the Future — - As we celebrate the successes of the past, our gaze is now fixed on one of the most prestigious events of the year—the upcoming Students’ National Conference of 2025. This is not just another conference—it is a landmark event that represents a celebration of learning, innovation, and student empowerment. The event is already in the meticulous planning stage, with every detail being carefully curated to make it an unforgettable experience. The conference will bring together eminent speakers, industry leaders, and top professionals to share their insights and inspire future Chartered Accountants. Imagine being part of a gathering where knowledge meets passion, where ideas spark revolutions, and where students from across the nation unite for a common goal—to grow, to excel, and to shape the future of the financial world. This is what the Students’ National Conference promises to be.

- From technical sessions on taxation, auditing, and corporate finance to panel discussions with industry experts, from networking opportunities with accomplished professionals to interactive workshops on emerging financial trends, this conference will be a golden opportunity for every CA student to enhance their knowledge and expand their horizons. As the countdown begins, I urge each one of you to actively participate, contribute ideas, and make this event a grand success. This is our opportunity to leave a lasting impact, to be part of something truly significant, and to celebrate the power of student leadership.

EICASA continues to redefine opportunities for students by introducing Team EICASA – Sangam, an exclusive assembly of the top 50 brightest minds within its fold. This distinguished talent pool is not merely a recognition of academic excellence but a visionary initiative dedicated to fostering holistic growth beyond the confines of textbooks. With an unwavering commitment to nurturing well-rounded individuals, Sangam aims to propel students toward an enriching world of extra-curricular activities, leadership endeavors, and intellectual exploration. It serves as a beacon for those who dare to step beyond conventional learning, encouraging them to embrace creativity, collaboration, and experiential growth.
