Message from Chairman, EIRC



Dear Esteemed Members and Professional Colleagues,



The month of September is very much hectic for us. As we all know that last date of Income Tax Return Filing (ITR) for the FY 2024 – 25, AY 2025 – 26 is 15th September 2025. All the professionals practicing in Direct Tax will be busy till the last date of filing. As the Income Tax Audit deadline is 30th September 2025, hence we will hardly have some time for leisure till the month end.



Extension of date of filing of Income Tax Return: EIRC has taken up with the Direct Taxes Committee, ICAI the grievance being faced by Professionals in filing of Income Tax Return, on receipt of the requests from the members residing in North Eastern States.



The Members must have toiled hard as September 30th 2025 is the due date for completing tax audit and filing of return of income tax for all assesses where tax audit is mandatory. The times ahead are exciting both professionally and spiritually. The festive season is around the corner, and we, at EIRC, pray to the almighty may continue to grant us wisdom, prosperity and good fortune.

At end of September we have the festival days starting from Navratri and ending with Ramnavami and Dussehra. I take this opportunity to wish all of you a Happy Navratri and Happy Dussehra. May the divine power bless you with all the happiness and joy in the days to come.



50th Golden Jubilee Regional Conference – An iconic event
