Role & Responsibilities – Article Assistant

As an Article Assistant, you won’t just “assist”—you’ll learn, lead, and grow into a confident professional by working on real assignments that matter[dot]

? Accounting & Bookkeeping
Be the backbone of client businesses by maintaining live books, reconciling statements, and preparing financials using modern, cloud-based platforms—skills that make you future-ready[dot]

? Income Tax & GST Compliance
Get hands-on experience with real client tax filings, draft responses to the department, and track refunds—building expertise that will give you an edge in practice or industry[dot]

? Statutory & Tax Audits
Work alongside senior CAs on end-to-end statutory, tax, and internal audits—from documentation to audit file preparation[dot] You’ll see how big businesses actually function from the inside[dot]

? MIS & Financial Reporting
Learn how decision-makers think by preparing monthly MIS, variance analysis, and client dashboards—not just numbers, but insights that guide business strategy[dot]

? Research & Analysis
Dive into tax law, case studies, and departmental notices while supporting litigation and advisory cases—shaping you into a professional who can argue positions and solve problems[dot]

Desired Candidate Profile:

• Must be registered for Articleship under ICAI
• Strong interest in technology-driven finance and compliance
• Basic working knowledge of Excel, Tally, and accounting concepts
• Willingness to work full-time from our Kolkata office (no hybrid/remote model)
• Smart, self-driven, and willing to ask questions and take ownership
• Bonus if you’ve worked on cloud tools or are quick with tech
