NPCIL, a central PSU under the Department of Atomic Energy is imparting practical training (Internship) to those candidates who have passed Inter of CA or CMA in the field of Finance& Accounts in various Units and HQs of NPCIL for the mutual benefit of students as well as NPCIL.

Rs.10,000 /-(Ten Thousand only) p.m. Additional amount of Rs.5000/- (Five thousand) p.m.will be provided in case of Non-availability of accommodation at the Unit/HQ of NPCIL |

The number of Interns to be engaged at various Units and HQs of NPCIL and all other terms and conditions relating to the Internship is provided below. Government of India orders on reservation shall be followed .
Applications in the prescribed format (enclosed) for the Internship may be submitted in the prescribed format along with the copies of certificates to the email id internsfa@npcil.co.in on or before 15/08/2023.
The applicants who have been screened in may have to present themselves at respective Unit/Region for a screening interview, at their own expense, on the selected date, time and place which will be intimated to their e mail ID.

Eligibility
The eligibility of the students for the purpose of practical training at NPCIL units and HQs, shall be as per the terms and conditions provided by the respective institutions.
Period
The training will be for a maximum period of 12 months.
Entitlement of Leave
Trainees shall be eligible for paid leave of 30 days during one year training period. In case a trainee leaves in between training period, proportionate leave will be allowed. In case of absence other than the admissible leave, proportionate stipend will be deducted.
Working Hours
The working hours of the trainee will be 8 hours in a day including 1 hour lunch break (Working hours will NOT start after 11 AM and end before 5 pm); 5 days in a week. Attendance on the day on which Trainee appears for examination conducted by the Institute or attends a conference, seminar etc., (with the consent of the Institute) will be considered towards attendance on certification by the Institute.
Medical Test
The candidates shall be engaged after qualifying the standard medical examination.
Verification of Conduct & Character
Trainees may be engaged based on the Police Verification certificate issued by the District Police authorities . In addition, the candidate is required to submit Character/conduct certificate from the concerned Institution.
Other facilities
Trainees will avail the site transportation facility on free of cost basis subject to availability. As far as medical facilities are concerned, only OPD and First Aid facility will be provided on free of cost basis.
At Units a suitable accommodation (single room or bare minimum accommodation) will be provided on payment of normal license fee. In case of non-availability of accommodation at Units and at HQ an amount of Rs. 5000/- (Five Thousand) per month will be provided to the Trainees in lieu of accommodation.
The trainees shall not be entitled for any other benefit/facilities apart from those mentioned in these guidelines.
Employer’s Liability for Compensation for Injury
If personal injury is caused to a Trainee by accident arising out of and during the course of training, NPCIL shall be liable to pay compensation which shall be determined and paid in accordance with the provisions of the Employees’ Compensation Act, 1923.
Conduct & Discipline and observing Safety & security instruction
In all matters of conduct and discipline, the Trainees shall maintain discipline and decorum during training period and shall follow the Safety & Secuirty instructions issued from time to time. The traineeship shall be liable to be cancelled without any notice in case of violation of general discipline, safety & security instructions.
Coverage of Trainees under various Acts
CA/CMA Trainees undergoing training in NPCIL Units/HQs shall be treated as a Trainee and the provisions of any law applicable to employees )other than that mentioned in case of compensation for injury above) with respect to labour shall not apply to the Trainees.
Regular Employment
It shall not be obligatory on the part of NPCIL to offer employment to any of the Trainee who has completed the period of Training.
